Jesus
spent his childhood in Nazareth in
Galilee. His public ministry probably began about
A.D. 27. After teaching, preaching, and performing miracles for several
years, Jesus was crucified in the city of Jerusalem
at the time of Passover. The
exact year of his death and resurrection is not known, but it was probably
about the year 30.
